Privacy Policy for "Leave a Message for the Universal Bubba"

Effective September 23, 2026

This policy covers the Universal Bubba text program: people who sign up for texts or leave a message for the Universal Bubba, and the texts that follow. The program is run by Willi Carlisle ("we"). Texting terms are at https://www.willicarlisle.com/sms-terms.

What we collect

  • Your first name and mobile number.

  • If you leave one, your message: a recording at the merch table, including a live conversation with Willi if he picks up.

  • The show or city you were at.

  • Your consent record (what you agreed to and when).

  • Whether you allowed us to share your recording.

  • Any discount or promo code we give you.

  • Texts you send to our number and delivery records for texts we send.

How we use it

  • To reply to messages you leave.

  • To send the texts you signed up for, including any code or perk we offered you.

  • To send news about Willi's shows and releases.

  • To keep the consent record and honor opt-outs.

  • If you said yes at the merch table, to use your recording in videos and social posts for Willi, without payment.

Sharing

No mobile information or SMS consent will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers that deliver texts, store messages, and transcribe recordings for us may handle your information only to run this program. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Retention

We keep your information as long as needed for this program and to document consent. Email hello@willicarlisle.com with the number you used to have it deleted; we keep a record of the request.
